📝 Survey Questionnaire

The overall price for our annual event was noticeably higher this year and was primarily based on two (2) factors. 1) More than half of our participants did not stay at the hotel and, 2) many of the golf courses have moved their discount rate from June-1 (which it has been for years) to July-1 and later (in some cases). There does not seem to be a significant monetary advantage any more of scheduling our trip in the first week in June every year. Having said that...I ask the following four (4) questions:

1. How would you rate this year’s price for the overall golf, room & pay-out package?

2. If the overall price is comparable, would you be open to moving our event into early May to play in slightly more favorable weather?

3. In your opinion, what changes could be made to motivate golf-only players to stay at the hotel?

4. Would you be open to moving our event to a destination other than Mesquite?

The following ten (10) questions are intended to gauge the satisfaction of this year’s event and plan for future events:

1. Are there any of these courses you would prefer NOT to play next year?

2. Any comments and/or suggestions on courses we should play again, or new courses to consider for next year?

3. Considering the travel involved, how many days would you prefer to play in St. George, Utah?

4. Were the games & pay-outs okay & spread out fairly?

5. Should lower handicapped players play from different (more difficult) tee boxes?

6. What are your feelings about the Team Competition?

7. Were our friendly/liberal rules clear and easy to interpret and enforce?

8. Any comments and/or suggestions on how to improve and/or address slow play?

9. Do you plan on attending next year?
